By accessing or using EventJar ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
EventJar is an event coordination platform that allows users ("Hosts") to create event pages where friends and family ("Guests") can contribute funds, claim tasks, select gifts from wishlists, and coordinate support — all through a single shareable link.
To create events, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
EventJar offers Free, Plus, and Pro plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Plan limits (events, guests, fund caps) are enforced per your active subscription tier.
All financial transactions are processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe). EventJar does not store credit card details. Contributions made by Guests are directed to the Host's designated account. EventJar is not liable for disputes between Hosts and Guests regarding fund usage.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to solicit funds under false pretenses, to upload harmful or offensive content, or to interfere with the Service's operation. EventJar reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
All content, branding, and technology on EventJar are owned by EventJar or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant EventJar a non-exclusive license to display it within the Service.
EventJar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventJar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though certain provisions (liability, intellectual property) survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
